To comply with the guidelines set forth by BS476 Part 22, it is necessary to provide 60 minutes of fire protection to all external timber. This can be achieved through a multi-step process. Firstly,  we applied a layer of HWAP primer followed by three coats of HW02/N to protect the timber.

To further enhance its appearance, two coats of Ronseal antique pine stain were added. This treatment will provide a lifespan of 10 years. It is important to reapply one coat of sealant every 10 years to ensure that the timber continues to offer the required level of fire performance.
