Upgrading Ceilings and Doors
Upgrading Ceilings and Doors
Upgrading the plasterboard ceilings in the study, office, lobby, entrance hall, common room, 2 staircase landings, and 5 bedrooms to 60 minutes of fire protection can significantly reduce the spread of fire and smoke. This upgrade involves installing fire-resistant plasterboard that can withstand high temperatures for an extended period. Additionally, upgrading 11 doors to meet the FD30 Standard is another effective way to improve fire safety.
This standard requires doors to be able to resist fire for at least 30 minutes, providing occupants with enough time to evacuate the building safely. By taking these measures, you can ensure that your property is better equipped to handle a fire emergency, keeping you and your loved ones safe.
